This deck is for multi-player. It is on the mid-range beat down plan. In best case scenario you cast Driven // Ddespair (despair for the menace if you need it) with some beaters out and ko someone. If this does happen you will draw cards and hopefully be able to then use removal and beaters you draw to kill the others. This deck works best when you can cast Vraska turn 6 with creatures to protect her and you either remove a problem or just start pumping out menace 2/2s. Besides Vraska, there are a lot of interactions between cards that can help out nicely mid-game, Winding Constrictor + Rishkar + Ballista + Verderous Gearhulk or Ramunap Excavator + Evolving Wilds and Field of Ruin (if necessary) or Verderuous Gearhulk + Rishkar's Expertise into Yahenni's Expertise into a something 3 or less. If the game goes long enough and no one answers a Sandwurm Convergence that also can grind you out a victory in the late game. Having played it several more times it feels like it could use more ramp, maybe use Gilded Lotus in place of Aid from the Cowl (which ends up only being ok in the deck unless you are already pretty well ahead). It also could benefit from Memorial to Folly which goes well with Ramunap Excavator.
If you are going to play 1v1 you have to take out some of the bigger stuff for cards like Fatal Push, Cast Down, Dusk Legion Zealot, Gifted Aetherborn, Merfolk Branchwalker and other cards that won't help you as much in multiplayer. I have not played this deck in 1v1 though so I can't say exactly what it needs.
