Thanks for your comment! The reason why the deck doesn't have counterspells is that you want to play proactively since you are playing tempo, for the same reason there are 2 paths and 4 helix and not the other way round. seasoned pyromancer's double red might be difficult to achieve, but it's a considerable thought to add it, still it would be a big change in gameplan, adding those two would force us to change the entire list and therefore the gameplan, depending on player preference. slip through space doesn't seem to be a good card, but it's game-winning in combination with arcanist or geist. I have played 2 tournaments with that deck so far and I'm unbeaten over 10 matches, slip through space caused most of those wins. check out the UWR geist list I published before, almost the same deck, but not using stoneforges, but cryptics to sneak the geist through opponents defense

I actually had the same idea, while playtesting I found out that the drawback of having another non-blue source, which is not casting your cryptic command, is worse than the benefits it gives. The thing is, either cryptic command taps all possible blockers, or royal scions gives you the extra power and firststrike. Generally, the geist never goes into a fight he can't win, best case, he sees no blockers at all! ^^ But nice Idea, without the cryptics I would instantly add it!
