W/

Little bit of self-mill, lots of low cost efficient-ish creatures and cheap removal to stall. Obviously building up to Brisila.

On paper, with this build as soon as I get one, I'll be able to repeatedly summon another if it's killed, worst case exiled.

I'm not familiar with the recent meta at all, but save the "3 4 oned"  , I know it's dumb.

But good luck eliminating a 9/10 first strike, flying, trample, vigilance, lifelink without any cards under CMC3 with an emblem on the field that revives it every endstep.
Any suggestions? Anybody else trying? Or do you agree that it's just bad?

The Simic Combine has resurrected some of their most dangerous experiments in this deck. The only thing I think I'm missing is Mystic Genesis, and Plasm Capture. What do you think? here it it

Brutally effective, I like it! Needs strong creatures and an air-force though. since you're turning their stuff into artifacts Furnace Dragon is a perfect fit

Ahhaha, -_-'   you're right, getting used to tournament rules. Then... Species Gorger? It fills the same role. sadly in this rural area I'm limited to casual and  MTG:2013.

I just suggested this to someone else, but if imediate effect with an intimidating body is what you want then Gruul Ragebeast might work, it will evolve your cards and you could get extra simicy by bouncing it back so your evolve cards improve and your opponents creatures fight a 6/6 every turn, unless your hand is strong enough to take full advantage of it's effect. If it's too expensive perhaps a Nulltread?

I think you should mana ramp in something like the Gruul Ragebeast I used it in my sad five color deck and found it disrupts their plans quiet well. A Signal The Clans is a good and cheap way of getting some of the ramps you need, like Llanowar Elves, or Gyre Sage

I'm with you BandGeek, Simic and all of their test-tube cards are some of the most fun to use, though I perfer old Simic a bit more.

It's good, squeeze an Obzedat, Ghost Council  and a couple Ruthless Evictions (I think that's what it is called)

My thoughts are the old version is more reliable, but this one can be far more powerful

So I decided to read up on WotC tournament rules and realize I should have put this in vintage...
on another note, what do you think of this new/classic Simic twist?
