Unearth might be a consideration, but the red mana generated by chromatics is usually more than enough and you don't want to dilute the deck. As for the Lotus Petals... we're actually considering going to 0 instead of 2 :p. It's an exciting card, but probably it isn't needed in this deck. No it doesn't, but this deck doesn't need a crazy storm count to go off, so rituals and stars are sufficient to generate it.
