Let's kick it with Hallar 2.0

I am thinking about building this deck. What holds me back the most is the difficulty in estimating the "real" mana curve, considering the kicker cost. (14 Ramp / 36 Lands optimal?)
This deck doesn't have a real wincon either, except just trying to drain everyone as fast as possible with the Commander.
But I'm certain this mechanic draws a lot of hate on my Commander, which is why I want to have a decent amount of and Saves / Counter Spells in the deck.

Does anyone have any more hot tips on what might help for this or does anyone see cards that are nonsensical?

What kind of decks does your wife play? Maybe she just hasn't found her style yet?
Personally, I'm not a big strategist either, and my head spins regularly when my friends play their complicated combo decks.
I try to keep it simple at least for me by playing for example stompy creatures in mono green, easy boros equipments,
or voltron style with lifegain and a bit of stax (generally midrange style so I don't get overwhelmed too fast).

Hallo,

die Pfeile, die in der Kopfzeile der Details-Tabelle anzeigen, ob die Tabellenspalte auf- oder absteigend sortiert ist, sind im Dark Theme schwarz und darum nur ganz schlecht zu sehen. Besteht sie Möglichkeit, dass sie an die Schriftfarbe angepasst werden?
