Thanks for the suggestions! Adding Eye of Ugin would make me want to make this more of an Eldrazi deck (which isn't bad necessarily). 🤔

I faced a GW Tokens deck last night, and have faced R/x aggro on Xmage. Life total can get low in such a matchup, but the spot removal plus Languish and Planar Outburst, in addition to the life gain of Nissa's Renewal, Shambling Vent, and Sorin's second ability keeps me in the game until I stabilize. At least that's what I've found so far in testing and one FNM. More removal in the sideboard helps in games 2-3.

Arcanis is the Commander for these totally reasonable reasons...

1. Arcanis is my favorite MTG creature.
2. Six mana isn't that much in Commander.
3. Arcanis combos well with cards like Pemmin's Aura and Mind Over Matter.
4. Arcanis draws ALL EVERY CARDS. I like drawing cards.
5. Few things are as satisfying as using Sakashima the Impostor as a second Arcanis to draw six extra cards a turn.
6. Almost everyone else in the world with a mono-blue deck runs either Azami or Vendilion Clique. I prefer choosing the road less traveled.

Thanks for the ideas! I'm still testing the deck and need to test more, but so far S.D.E. has been huge for me.

Thanks for the ideas! I really like adding Gilt-Leaf Archdruid. I'm sure this deck will go through several changes. I just bought the Green deck and made a few quick changes.
