Goblin FleasThis deck is designed around a 4ish round kill depending upon the draw. It's fast and takes almost nothing to run it. The Lackeys, Raging Goblins and Maniac's are the main thrust and beat down. The Lackeys keep bringing down the higher priced goblins so you never have to pay for them and I never pay for the echo cost. It takes about 2-3 land to run this deck effectively. The
wheel of fortune if to
replenish your hand, the
winter orb is an end game
choke/stall. This deck will do around 12-16 points and then run out of gas. Everything is designed to get the lackeys to bring down more and more goblins from your hand. The
giant strength,
fire whip, etc. keeps them
alive while doing damage and the Mutants are just bait. Grenades are used early/mid game to discourage and
demoralize the opponent. If they have protection red, run away! Note: I did play a guy with a $1500 deck that had the power 9 in it and it was a 5 color sliver deck and beat him soundly in the first of three games. I didn't score a point the next two games, but it felt good that a $30 deck whooped up on a $1500 deck at least once! (I'm thinking about a 15 card green add on to this deck but I'm not sure how it will look and what I will take out, still working on that.)
