You don't need Assualt Formation. Drop it for Path and you have a solid deck. I played this for a while and did pretty well in my meta. I didn't have the Abrupt Decay's or Cavern of Soul's though.

Flipping Thing in the Ice would remove the tokens. The bounce spell targets both of them so that's another removal. I could also put in Slip Through Space. Polymorphic Jest makes them 0/1s with no protection. Lots of ways to deal with their creatures. Including the ones Hunted Horror creates.
