thanks a lot. i tried it and i now mulligan down to about 6 as an appose to five! i think im also gonna reduse the splash, and maybe just throw in a golgari guild gate, so that way i don't need to be stuck with a useless swamp.

i think if you throw a vraska the unseen in youll do pretty well with this. once you get her  and you get the 1/1 assasin tokens out your really well off. also, it wont matter that they are a 1/1 because you have those viridian claws, sword of vengeance and other counter related cards. I also think that you should throw some ramp cards in there so that you dont get mana screwed, even though you only need 2 lands to play... but still this can help you with those higher casting cards. maybe some elves? idk, i am brainstorming. also I love your choice of enchantements. if you throw a vraska the unseen in, with its -7 effect, you can throw in those 1/1 tokens, and then if you wanted to play something awesome like revenge of the hunted, you win the game! those are some of my thoughts, but i really like what you have here!!! keep it up, and good luck!

vraska the unseen. for the effect -7 "create a creature token that says "whenever this token deals combat damage to a player, you win the game" mind blown. never gotten a chance to get this far with it, but i am sure it has happened.

General Magic / Legacy on FNM?

 Hey so i have never been to an FNM event before but i would like to. currently i run three decks. So i was wondering, what are the formats allowed for Friday Night Magic. Are you allowed to use a Legacy deck? does it vary from shop to shop? that is my main question, answers would be greatly appreciated.

well its only a tiny splash of black and it has never been an issue except when i get a swamp that i have no use for XD thanks for the advice though

So this is a deck i made entirely out of the 2014 core toolkit. It is not very good, but i think it is ok for something i threw together in an hour. i basically just attempted to put together cards that had similar synergetic abilities. Ive played three games with it and won two of them (i got extremely lucky with my hands). I  have been doing practice hands and usually have to mulligan down to about five. again, i would like to keep this deck within the restrictions of the toolkit. Also, thanks for the advice! so do you think i should drop the elvish guidance? what should i put in as a replacement? also as a replacement for heritage druid, the reason i like it is because of the combo between nettle sentinel. I do have a lot of ramp in here, and maybe i have too much. What are some creatures that you have in mind that are really beneficial? i will def put in some ambush commanders, and i will probably replace the elvish guidance with the crosswind and briar patch. thank you so much. I feel as if this deck is very good, but with your suggestions, it has the potential to be even better! also i admire your elves deck. Does it have a high win to lose ratio? @ludubois
