Deckstats Feedback / [Feature request] Unified stats and search
« am: Juni 10, 2023, 07:57:00 Vormittag »
Hello,

I've seen a few posts with the same issue I face, but none of them seems to be the easiest and more pratical mean to handle it.

As a lot of others users, I got cards distributed among several decks and severals binders.
With some cards in several copies, but in different places

For example, I can have a Foil Akroma in my Kaalia Deck, 2 normal in a Trade Binder and a signed one in a Collection Binder.

The most straightforward way ton arrange my collection on the site, is to create a deck for my Kaalia, and a collection for each of my binders.

It would be nice to be able to have an unified view that allow to see values and stats for our whole collection, and where each card is located.
And, for the search, be able to see a list of all owned Akroma with their location when I search for that card.

Thanks for reading !

[fr] Demandes de Revues de Decks / [EDH / Commander] Mono Green Elfe/Hydre Tribal
« am: März 26, 2022, 10:21:13 Vormittag »
Guided by Nature

Bonjour,

Bien cordialement,

Commander Deck Reviews / Re: [EDH / Commander] Ghave Saprolings

Hello,

And thanks for your return.

I know that there is a lot of combos, since it seems that Ghave allow combo with a large amount of cards.
And I looked several combo decks for make my own.

And that is my problem : In one hand, there are too many combo, and in the other, if I only remove some cards I think I won't have enough room to add cards to maintain a minimum of dynamic in the deck.

I don't know if I explain correctly what I mean.

Ghave Saprolings

Hello,

I wanted to build a deck about saproling tokens. I choose to use Ghave, Guru of Spores as a commander.
After browsing a few decks, I found out that there is mainly 2 ways to build : Combos or Fungus.

Ideally, I would like to play with a very large swarm of saprolings.
But combos seems too annoying for opponents and Fungus too weak.

Could my list be viable in multiplayer ? How could I improve it further ?
Always in the idea of playing a lot of saprolings.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Good evening.

Commander Deck Reviews / Classic Meren Sacrifice / Reanimator
« am: Oktober 30, 2021, 10:03:59 Vormittag »
Hello,
I'm in the process of upgrading my current Meren deck based on reanimation and sacrifice.
https://deckstats.net/decks/98891/2095335-meren-queen-of-the-grave/fr

I try to use a pattern that I found on Internet and tested with some other deck wich follow those guidelines :
- 30 Cards that have a synergy with the deck thematic
- 10 Ramp
- 10 Draws
- 10 Removals
- 5 Wrath
- 34 to 36 lands

For each of the category, of course, it's an indicative value which must be adjusted based on deck needs. Moreover, the sum is over 100 cards, which mean that we have to reduce somewhere. And also, some cards could be in several place. For instance, in an elf deck, Mystic elves could be in "ramp" or in "synergy".

I tried to do the same with the deck listed here. But I came across a problem. For the previous deck I made with this technique, the strategy was pretty simple : I made a Brago with ETB spells and blink spells in synergy, I made an Equipment deck with equipments and creature with interesting effects with equiment (equip as flash, tutor, evasion skills etc...).

But here, it's a bit more complex. I could have more category and I don't know how to balance my synergie section (in number of cards) between those synergy themes :
- Sacrifice enabler : Cards that make me sacrifice others cards to help raise my Exp
- Sacrifice target : Cards that could be interesting to sacrifice to trigger somme effects
- Reanimation enabler : Cards that allow the reanimation of others cards which is somehow the heart of the deck
- Reanimation target : Card that would be interesting to reanimate because they are powerful, but hard to cast rapidly by normal way
- Other cards that benefits from being in the graveyard or that benefits that there are a lot of other cards in graveyard

I'd like to have some advice or some card suggestion to improve the deck and to balance those category.
Thanks in advance.

Commander Deck Reviews / Wyleth, advices needed for equipments deck
« am: Dezember 16, 2020, 04:54:45 Nachmittag »

Hello,

I made that deck as an upgrade of the WR precon deck of Commander Legends.
My main purpose was to use a lot of strong equipments. The five original "Sword of ...", for instance.

But I was wondering if I didn't put too many equipments of if it wouldn't be better to add some more instant for more reactivity.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Well, tidespout tyrant can return land to prevent the opponent from replay it's cards. So it slow it a lot more.

But I get your point. And that was what I was thinking too. But I wasn't very sure about it.

Yeah, indeed, Commander sphere is a pretty good idea.

I not very sure between Psychosis Crawler and Oneirophage for now. Put I understand yur point of view, attacking is more random that a triggered effect. I'll see.

As for Azami, I indeed have 14 Wizards. It wasn't meant to be a tribal deck, but it helps here. Without counting the spark double that could become a wizard too.

In order to have some variety in kills/removal, I was thinking about playing a combo I discovered some years ago.

Tidespout Tyrant + clone + Ornithopter => You play Tidespout, duplicate it with clone then play ornithopter. Then you can return 2 target permanents to their owners hand. Yon can return any permanant of an opponent (even lands !)  and you ornithopter. Now you can replay your ornithopter for 0 and repeat until you reset the boards of your opponenents.

As I already have a spark double which can act as a clone, I was wondering if adding Tidespout Tyrant and Ornithopter could be a good idea. With a tolaria west, I could easily tutor the ornithopter.

I think I understand your suggestions

But I don't understand for Darksteel Ingot and Thought Vessel. If the purpose is to add mana, why removing 2 mana rocks ? And why Darksteel Ingot over manalith, which are basically the same card except that Darksteel Ingot is indestructible ?

I really apprecaited all of them.

But now, I don't really know what card to remove to make room for more lands.
That have always been a diffcult point for me XD.

It worth nothing saying that I plan to balance the number of Mountains and Islands according to the final list of cards.
