Playing the deck was a lot of fun, will probably build a side board for it, and make a few main deck adjustments and test it out some more.

I did just adjust to a second firecannon as I don't like only having 1 in the deck in case it gets removed somehow - will give a quick run and see how it feels tonight on our stream over at mtgbrewersspark on twitch along with several other brews - getting late in the current standard so finding or coming up with different ideas is getting tougher lol.

It is a combo oriented win with firecannon - Want to see how this version of it runs as it looked interesting to me as well.

Looking for some new ideas to brew with, and this deck looked interesting and wanted to give it a quick run through.

Several test matches on stream last night  twitch.tv/mtgbrewersspark

Deck went back to 4 colors - after cutting nico and trying sorin - felt sorin was not where we wanted to be on this.

Noted initial thoughts on cards - the deck performed slightly under in some aspects and slightly higher in others.  The aggressive match ups were good. control was tough - but should be for midrange got stuck in land go situation for far too long.

I will be updating thoughts on the deck after watching the the Video over the next few days.
Working on testing for upcoming SCG classic but ultimatly for GP DC.
Feel walkers is a solid route to go as there is very little interaction being played for them.

This wasn't anyone at wizards either - was clearly at the printers end.

It is worse than the phyrexia one simply because of how far ahead it is, we don't even have HOU fully spoiled yet hype train for ixilon will be long gone in the 3.5 months we have till launch.  The only thing that might save them is rotation happening.

Sucks because standard is already down, now its getting kicked while its down.

Wish I could have selected more than 2! lol

Big ones for me are encouraging creativity in deck building.  I really feel that top tier decks dominate so much because of a lack of creativity in deck building.  I also feel like having answers printed (Been saying since kaladesh we needed to have a way to interact with an opponents energy was needed, this would have possibly prevented banning of marvel too)

I would have loved them to stick to the new old rotation a bit longer - the 18 month rotation kept standard fresher.  Right now we are hitting the issues of things should not only have rotated in their plans but there are too many cards in standard.  Having a smaller card pool allows the sets in standard to shine more versus a powerful card overshadowing things for up to 2 years not allowing sets to shine on their own.

When in doubt mill them out.....When they have more resources than you, discard their hand.......When their deck runs faster, cancel everything they play or blow up their lands. Even though these aren't always guaranteed to give you the big W every single time they are strategies that people seem to not implement very often. It's almost like; "lets see who's decks can run the fastest!" but there's little interacting between opponents unless they are swinging an Ulamog the ceaseless hunger. So much for deck building creativity.....

I agree 100% a lot of alternate strategies - mill can be a great wincon vs marvel but often is overlooked as a legitimate win con because its a slower burn essentially, but i sure enjoy it! I have talked with several people who view the marvel decks as unbeatable even after supplying several ways to beat it, default back to it being unbeatable and needing a ban.  We have thankfully have successfully encouraged brewing at my shop so we only have a couple people who run marvel or zombies.

I had been playing some esper aristocrats in standard over the last month and it has been fun.  I think a big problem is that a lot of people see marvel as this rarely beatable juggernaut and think it is a tier 0 deck.  Standard in my opinion is far from solved and marvel is very beatable - Standard currently is stalled due to a lack of major event supporting it so the innovation disappeared to an extent.  I think you need to have answers for marvel and zombies in your 75, but by no means are they the only options for competitive decks.  I have been tinkering with a mill control type deck, 4c midrange and a bant walkers deck as well, all of which do decent against marvel.  Running white it is easy to mainboard answers like cast out and forsake the worldly because if they end up being dead you can always cycle them to get to something else.

Angel of sanctions was cut after deck went through several games on stream on saturday night.  It was at first tested with cloudblazer which felt clunky and has now become tireless trackers.
Sideboard - jace was cut for a sigarda, the hexproof for us may be very relevant in some match ups.
2 censor became 2 immolating glare as agro was a tough match up for us and being able to hopefully instant speed kill a creature or 2 would be most beneficial.

I will test with this configuration but each piece of the deck felt very powerful
The biggest overperformer has been Ajani thus far his -2 is very real in a world of gods and recursion.
Rhonas as also been a solid overperformer - in most other shells he has been hard to turn on, but in this one he seems very easy to get turned on.

Underperformer - angel of sanctions is now cut for cloudblazer
Cloudblazer - now cut for tireless trackers

The addition of trackers lowers the curve slightly, and gives us some mid-late game card draw with clues
I would like to add a 3rd tracker but don't see a slot to cut.
The other card I could see adding is a heart of Kiran but the same issue, don't see a slot to cut for it.

Deck Comments / Re: Temur Ramp - Comments

I have been tinkering with various ramp strategies.  The pyramid of the pantheon has been better than expected.  I have not had a chance to test bounty of the luxa.  I had played a jund monsters featuring reality smashers and though I would give a shot with Temur and add in some ramp and go up to ulamogs.  The red is primarily there for the glorybringer as they have been way better than original thoughts in replacing the much missed stormbreath dragon and thunderbreak regent.

Will update this list once I have done alittle testing on Mondays stream.

This is version 2 of this deck, I am still very much on the fence about angel of sanctions.
I need to get a few more reps in on the main deck to tweak things but added spellquellers to the sideboard - feel they are valuable in a few of the more aggressive matchups to get over the oh so valuable turn 3 in standard to where I can start landing walkers or a gisela.

Found Myself watering down threats altogether as i did further testing, and tweaking taking step back to retool the deck and better streamline it.

Removing evolving wilds improved deck performance, have onyl used deep dwellers once, they were ok.  Tireless tracker is back on the maybe board to improve late game drawing capability.
