Really wanted to build deaths shadow in historic, this is all theoretical at this point since I don't have very many wildcards. Basically trying to mimic the modern deck, and see if it turns out to be good

Shadowborn K'rrik

I was kinda bored with my old K'rrik build, so I decided to build a shadowborn apostles deck. Feedback is super appreciated, I feel like some of my proportions are probably off. Do I have too many payoffs? Is it too risky to go so low on lands?  Thanks in advance v_v

UW Control

I usually play mid-range and aggro decks, so this is my take on UW control. Sideboard is mostly just tailoring the suite of counters to the matchup, plus AotSS as an alternate win condition if needed. I haven't really looked at the meta lists for UW control, so if I'm missing something vital let me know.

"Phenomenal Cosmic Power" Can be found on scryfall, it's one of the more recently spoiled cards. This is an aggressive graveyard intensive deck, you benefit from all your creatures dying, and the sideboard can lean more removal heavy, and surprise people with the fanatic of mogis.

Dump your library and take advantage of the graveyard with Prized Amalgam, Creeping Chill, and Arclight Phoenix. Any recommendations for the sideboard are welcome, since it's rather weak to graveyard hate.

Kess of Death

Counter/cantrip until you find a combo.
Bounce peregrine Drake for infinite Mana, dual caster mage to bounce everyone's creatures and artifacts, and both give infinite etbs. Warstorm surge, impact tremors, and sages row denizen are all payoff cards, plus Kess is useful to reuse and recycle cards for more value.

I'm aware this deck is probably leaning too heavy on the instants and sorceries, replacement recommendations are very welcome! I'd rather not go over $200 with this deck though.

Thanks for all the feedback! I'll definitely be considering the options and other suggestions if/when I decide to start putting this deck together. My zektar shrine expedition is in there for a little landfall synergy but it isn't the best card, it was one of the ones I was probably going to cut in a later version.

Angry Boi

Basically a lands matter deck, not too complicated. Just use land drops for value, one of the problems I think it will run into is running out of spells in hand, might trim the lands down a few basics. Also I'm pretty sure I put too many artifact/enchantment removal spells in here but I needed to fill card slots and figured that omnath has pretty decent creature removal by himself. Any suggestions are appreciated!

Infinite Storm

This is a storm/control deck, with a couple win cons. Use Jace, wielder of mysteries with a reduced cost Divining Top to mill yourself; use aetherflux reservoir and the top to laser everyone to death; isochron scepter and a couple of mana rocks plus dramatic reversal and you've got infinite mana and infinite storm counts for the reservoir as well. A bit more reliable than my previous pramikon deck, since Elsha lets you play your top card.

Those tutors would probably be useful, I'll find a place for them. I thought about putting anger in but there are other creatures that give haste while on board. Anger could be a good back up though, I'll see if there's anything I'd want to take out.

Speed Hatchery

This is a Naya combo deck using atla from the 2019 precons. Equip her with the thornbite staff, and get ashnod's alter out, and you're set up. Create an egg, then sac it with ashnod's alter. This will trigger the egg and make atla untap, while providing the Mana to create another egg. Do this until all your creatures, or as many as you need, are on the field.

Thanks for the feedback! There are definitely improvements to be made here, this was made really quickly while at work. The main combo should be infinite as long as you a) can play the top card of your deck b) reduce the cost of sensei's divining top. Using the tops tap ability each time you play it lets you draw your deck and puts it back on top, so you should be able to go infinite that way. Also, I agree the Mana base is a little lacking. Might take out a few redundant walls and replace them with more basics or shock lands, depending on what I want to spend.

Make Top free, cast it from the top of your deck infinite times, and reservoir everyone to death. Use the walls to protect yourself while you set up.
