Yeah you are right, best thing I can say is find another local meta to come into with that deck, There are people where I live that are the type of people to run a CEDH deck at a casual table. and dealing with them motivated me to build 10 decks of power level 1-10 I call the power 10. but I am always building decks I have about 15 at the moment. or he can help his friends upgrade their decks and bring them up to his decks power level. I'm not saying loaning them his cards or anything like I do with my friends. But if that is the issue seems like a easily solvable one.

If they frequently take apart and make new decks, any upgrades you help make to the deck will be for nothing.

So this is something that I used to do.  Constantly building new decks but never really getting good at tuning a deck because I was constantly chasing new plays and cards.  It could be for the love of the game or as it was in my case lack of experience and knowledge in tuning decks.  It takes effort to learn for most, although some have an affinity like with my roommate, and time spent play testing.  if the group meets infrequently, this could be a driving factor for the new deck showcase but, I would guess that the other players are suffering from the "this deck isn't good and I don't know how to make it better so I'll make a new one."  This sole reason is why I am a new member on deckstats.  My roommate is teaching me how to make my decks better and thus showing me the tools he uses to smith and track all his builds.  While I do not know the driving force in his groups decision to tear apart their builds, I would not say that upgrade suggestions are for nothing.  As an example I threw together a deck with dinos from Ixilan and after the game night I lost so bad I was going to scrap it but what stopped me was the suggested edits.  He gave me a ten in ten out list and even offered to lend me the cards for the next night if I didn't want to buy them so I ended up keeping it together and doing much better the next time round.  This lead me to another ten in ten out and mana fixing because I stalled out, after all Gishath, Sun's Avatar is an 8 drop. but the point is that the suggestions encouraged me to keep it together and today it's one of my stronger decks forged in the fire of gameplay.  If he never suggested the edits it would have been scrapped out.  I think it's always worth a try as a conversation at the least.

He is right, That was a fun deck to help him optimize.
