Hello there,
For my part, I would lower the mana curve and increase the numbers of creatures (45 or more ideally).
What is this
counterspell doing here?
The
Mystic Snake is a good idea, for every spell in your deck you should think: Can I find the equivalent on a creature (with a decent mana cost)?
If you can't find an equivalent, then you should think: Is this non-creature spell mandatory?
For example, in my deck:
Greater Good, this card is insane it allows me to fill my graveyard, so I keep it. On the contrary,
Far Wanderings, it's a really good card, but I prefer a
Sakura-Tribe Elder, because it's a creature.
I think 7 zombies is quite low. I don't see a lot of self mill cards which is the base of the deck.
I would say:
Power: 4, there is no combo (either infinite or not): in my playgroup we
forbid the infinite type of combo, but we allow shenanigans. I think my deck has more power, I know I have more budget but the list is more consistent too. Power is relative too, I base my notation on my playgroup's decks power level.
Clarity: 7, not the easiest type of deck for a beginner I think but I would approve crimsonking: no combos, few shenanigans. You just need to understand: self mill and sacrifice.
Flavor: 6, a sidisi deck has a lot of flavor, it's one of my favorite decks, the colors are great, the mechanics are great, it has a lot of ressources. Here I miss a few cards, and I can spot cards that are out of theme.
If your budget is low, I would suggest this list:
