Stitcher's Supplier helps both mill back to Approach of the Second Sun and add cards to gaveyard for Lich's Mastery.

Thats a lot of land. I would add cycling deserts to help you get to Approach of the Second Sun after you've cast it once and want to mill to it.  Lifelink or healing to take advantage of Lich's Mastery.

Play testing this so far has been a ton of fun.

Deck is built around Sunbird's Invocation. 6 mana cost card so I gotta mana ramp to get there. To take advantage of Paradox Engine I went with Powerstone Shard and Gilded Lotus. Treasure Map helps here too plus possible card draw later.

The primary damage is indirect and comes from Combustible Gearhulk, Sword-Point Diplomacy, and Torment of Scarabs.

Anti creature cards that can be sideboarded: Edifice of Authority, Sweltering Suns, and Noxious Gearhulk. More in sideboard for heavy creature decks.

Sunbird's Invocation + Paradox Engine can lead to long turns. As long as you have cards you can probably cast them plus play free card(s) from your library. Arch of Orazca, Sword-Point Diplomacy, a flipped Treasure Map and Combustible Gearhulk help keep your turn going with card draw.

Looking for any advice on cards that could improve this. I've been swapping a lot of cards and trying various things. Not sold on Insult // Injury while the recent addition of Razaketh's Rite has paid off allowing me to chase a missing Paradox Engine or stack another Sunbird's Invocation.

I like it. Its a focused deck. I feel like you are going to often run out of cards. I'd add something for card draw like Treasure Map or Pirate's Prize, or Glimmer of Genius. You aren't really going to attack with creatures so I would replace Chart a Course. Add more The Mirari Conjecture and more double faced spells you can cast a second time from graveyard.

I love Allies. My B/W ally deck was one of my favorites. Gideon, Ally of Zendikar. With all the life gain you might want to consider Aetherflux Reservoir for alternate win condition.

Ondu Cleric, Lantern Scout, and Hada Freeblade FTW!

... Captain's Claws

If you are building around Fell Specter you've got to have 4 of them. Torment cards will help trigger the ability. Torment of Scarabs, Torment of Hailfire, Torment of Venom. Also Duress, Divest, Dreamstealer, Harsh Scrutiny, Raiders Wake.

Some of your creatures aren't very good. i.e. Bogstomper, Walking Corpse, Two-Headed Zombie. Diamond Mare doesn't really fit your build, he might net you a couple health gain. I like how you have a focus on playing from the graveyard. Consider Gate to the Afterlife and God-Pharaoh's Gift, and The Scarab God if you've got the cash.

I like the alternate win condition. I think you can improve upon Scrapheap Scrounger and Seekers Squire. Maybe consider some counter spells since you have blue.

Thanks for the comment. From play testing last night I do need more early game defense. Gleaming Barrier could definitely help with that. Although I do use the Ranging Raptors the same as a sacrificial land drop.

With Ramunap Excavator all I need to do is draw 1 Evolving Wilds or Grasping Dunes and I have an endless supply of them. I can even play more than 1 per turn potentially and quite often. I've played the Grasping Dunes from my graveyard 3 times in 1 turn to distribute 3 -1/-1 counters.

I am definitely going to add either the gleaming barrier or something else for 1-2 mana cost but a typical game starts

Turn 1 Land, Commune with Dinosaurs
Turn 2 Evolving Wilds, another Commune at best
Turn 3 Land, Wayward Swordtooth, Land again
Turn 4 Ramunap Excavator, Play the evolving wilds in my graveyard twice

On turn 4 I can have 6 land down. If I can get another Swordtooth, Ranging Raptors, or Enter the Unknown the land drops even quicker. Not to mention with 2 Swordtooths down Ghalta, Primal Hunger is a 2 mana cost.

Thanks again for the feedback.

Heavily focused deck on land. Ramunap Excavator allows you to replay Evolving Wilds and Grasping Dunes which also triggers Aid from the Cowl. Wayward Swordtooth and Enter the Unknown to replay those lands a 2nd or 3rd time each turn. Nissa, Vital Force -6 for maximum card drawing.

No early defense but a few early hits are offset by Verdant Sun's Avatar healing. Heroic Intervention and Verdant Rebirth for Saves/Defense. Might add Commencement of Festivities to help here if needed.

Sidebar addresses lack of flying defense and artifact/enchantment removal.

Tests well on Xmage, cards are in the mail.

I look forward to playing against this deck. You might consider Tricks of the Trade and Dreamstealer.

Siege Modification crews vehicles and is a must have. Consulate Dreadnought is a good candidate for Siege Modification with a 10/11 with First Strike potential on turn 3. Built to Last and Built to Smash. Fling FTW!

Every vehicle is potentially a non-creature artifact, unless they are crewed or seige mod.
