Thanks for the suggestions guys I like both of those creatures (despite not being treefolk they're close enough lol) so they have been added.

I have also changed the land up a bit. Should be more stable now but I plan on a few additions and changes down the line. I like the idea of Ensnaring Bridge as well as soft card draw like Ulvenwald Observer and Heartwood Storyteller but I'll have to juggle the list a bit to fit these.

No dictate of Kruphix? Seems on theme plus extra card draw to help that group hug!

If I can make a suggestion I would recommend some of the following creature cards into your deck. Some of these generate +1 counters for themselves and more importantly give a deck wide bonus for all creatures you control with +1 counters:

Abzan Battle Priest
Abzan Falconer
Ainok Bond-Kin
Anafenza, Kin Tree Spirit
Dragonscale General
Tuskguard Captain
Sunscorch Regent
Enduring Scalelord
Longshot Squad
Dromoka Captain

Also useful potentially is the enchantment Citadel Siege. If you pick Khans (which you will in a counter deck) you get 2 +1 counters before combat in your turn every turn.

I've built a deck very similar to this very recently so feel free to take a look (it's the Abzan one). Plus most of the cards in it are dirt cheap as well.
