So, Phoenixes are pretty cool, but often hard to
reanimate because they're often tied to various set mechanics. How do we get around that? With our favourite reanimator commander,
Marchesa, the Black Rose!
Your main win con here is to turn your birds sideways while Marchesa watches the show; her other bird keepers (Judith and
Species Specialist) help keep the damage and cards flowing when our birdies die, who should hopefully have +1/+1 Counters for them to be reanimated at the End of Turn. There's a bunch of sacrifice stuff here, from classics to the Casualty cards from New Capenna, making sure that they go down if need be.
This deck is weak to graveyard hate and
exile, so if your meta does have a lot of that, space out your deaths and birbs so that it's not
as catastrophic.
