With all these "discard" cards, you need a megrim in your deck...

Futaba Futaba

This is a variant on the samurai deck that was a preconstructed deck a few years ago. I pulled the Mothriders and cage of hands and 4 plains and put them in the maybe pile. The Bushi Tenderfoot I'm really on the fence about because of the difficulty of getting him to flip without getting killed.  I added Serra angels and wards to help protect the group as a whole and it seemed to work a bit better and make it a bit tougher. Needs some more play testing though. I added a few more legendary samurai and sprinkled in some other non-creature cards to help with the mix. Still play testing.

Willard's Ninja

This was a "rats overrun" kind of deck until I saw the "rat ninja" set come out. I then combined them into this crazy deck. Ninja fly out of your hand while the rats eat away at your opponent's toes! With Swarm Yard and a few other things, the rats just keep coming back again and again, just like in the movie. Maybe I should rename one of the Ninja "Ben"? Hmmm. (Thinking about adding Typhoid Rats...)
Taking out rabid rats, 1 razortooth rats and the ravenous rats and placing in 4 typhoid rats. Play testing this.

Goblin Fleas, Too

This is another version of the Goblin Fleas deck I have with a little more muscle, more tokens, less speed. General opinions would be great before I go hunting for some of the proxies I have inserted. My old deck has an average of 1.94 cost and about a 3-4 round mid-game with 5-6 round kill average. This one is a 2.22 (slower to get out ) but I added the Warren Instigators to help compensate for this. Both decks have the obvious weakness of being monochromatic but that's half the fun of the game.

Fire and Brimstone

Classic burn with back up skirmishers deck.  Blow things up and sweep the floor with the troops. The Pariah channels the damage to one of the knights to redirect any damage that is too big for you to take, etc. Urza's sunglasses makes all the mana uniform and Wrath of God is there just in case you get into trouble as is the Golden Wish.

Protection from Crabs

This is a hermit crab deck with a bit of a hermetic study twist.  As long as you have crabs, the HS, and a lot of mana the game is over quickly. It allows for multiple attacks from the crabs by tapping and untapping them while causing damage from the HS. There are lots of counter and protection spells in the deck to stop people from getting rid of the "crabs". There are a few contingencies with legacy's allure, soltari's and elementals to occupy the rest. I'm thinking about adding the cunning wish in to add another brainstorm after the first one has been used, don't know if that is legal yet. I need a card that will allow me to use both white and blue as white mana.

"Bruiser" (Blk/Blue)

This is a dual purpose deck in the fact that besides beating up the opponent directly (creatures and player alike) with the ninja and specters/megrim (plus assorted other little nasty beasts), it has the ability to use pestilence, expunge, and eradicate to help keep the opponent from blocking your attacks. I think the card count is too heavy right now and it is too slow as well as not having enough initial mana to get it rolling but when it is up and going, it's mid-end game is very fast (2-3 rds!)

Apes in the Forest

This 3 color deck is a slow build but a solid front once built. The (green) elves are obviously the power source for the red and white of the deck. When you are ready for the end game, overrun with everything you have, elves included. Kird Apes are great with Giant Growth and Lightning Bolts as support. Golden wish can bring in the Elvish Guidance. Thinking about adding 2 Naya Hushblades, not sure yet. Does a dual land count as a forest? If not, I might have to rethink the apes.

Goblin Fleas

This deck is designed around a 4ish round kill depending upon the draw. It's fast and takes almost nothing to run it. The Lackeys, Raging Goblins and Maniac's are the main thrust and beat down. The Lackeys keep bringing down the higher priced goblins so you never have to pay for them and I never pay for the echo cost. It takes about 2-3 land to run this deck effectively. The wheel of fortune if to replenish your hand, the winter orb is an end game choke/stall. This deck will do around 12-16 points and then run out of gas. Everything is designed to get the lackeys to bring down more and more goblins from your hand. The giant strength, fire whip, etc. keeps them alive while doing damage and the Mutants are just bait. Grenades are used early/mid game to discourage and demoralize the opponent. If they have protection red, run away! Note: I did play a guy with a $1500 deck that had the power 9 in it and it was a 5 color sliver deck and beat him soundly in the first of three games. I didn't score a point the next two games, but it felt good that a $30 deck whooped up on a $1500 deck at least once! (I'm thinking about a 15 card green add on to this deck but I'm not sure how it will look and what I will take out, still working on that.)
