Blood rush is a great way to beef up you creatures, wipe people out, and stick to all creature deck, especially with Phyrexian Hydra.

A nice target for your Xenegos would be Phyrexian Hydra, and he is cheap both in cmc and $.

Personally I would switch out Confront the Unknown for Larger than life, or Blossoming Defense. both are standard and would work better in my opinion seeing as Confront the Unknown is the only card you have in there that produces clue tokens.

Definitely especially with Phyrexian Dreadnought that giving Varolz 25 counters for 2 mana unless you have other creatures and/or enchantments that increase counters then its just stupid.
