This requires a little bit of explaining.
Eon Hub.
- Cumulative upkeep: You need to pay an increasing amount of a resource each upkeep to keep a permanent alive
- Echo: Pay the echo cost once during your next upkeep or lose your permanent
- Fading: Would normally remove a fading counter each upkeep until there are none left and you lose the permanent
- "At the beginning of your upkeep do bad stuff"
- Pact of Negation
All of these mechanics rely on upkeep step being a thing. If you remove it you remove the downside and keep the upside for free. Even the commander is an upkeep-related card: original
Nicol Bolas!
My question to you is: can you think of anything I've missed? I've still got to add some artifact recursion because I'm pretty sure
Eon Hub will get blown up pretty often. Suggest the jankiest card I haven't seen yet and win free internet points!
