Newbie here! Looking for some help
« on: July 21, 2015, 08:19:56 pm »
Hello everyone, just started playing MTG a few weeks ago. I have found a decent deck for standard and I would love to start playing modern. Can anybody tell me a cheap deck (not more than 30 Euros) that I can play and where to buy it?

Thank you very much in advice!

Hmm, You can buy the Elspeth vs. Kiora duel deck for at the most maybe 20 Eruos. It contains 2 deck and 2 plainswalkers aswell as quite a few other good and decent cards. (Mother of Runes, Explosive Vegetation, Lorescale Coatl)

Hover your mouse over the names of the cards to view them.

first deck I bought as well, the Kiora deck is tough at first as you keep getting your battlefield returned to your hand!

I would also recommend the Elspeth vs Kiora deck.

If you are looking for some more decks to play with after getting that set, I've designed four simple decks for new players that are each around $10.  You can find them here:
W/G Convoke:

B/W Constellation:
http://deck.tk/9eyX3sY8
U/W Rebound:
http://deck.tk/93DY2j7Y
G/B Graveyard:
http://deck.tk/51fk2ypa

Each of them focuses on a unique mechanic, so they should all feel very different from each other and from the Elspeth/Kiora decks.

Hmm, If you're looking for a competitive/tournament deck Mono-Red Burn or RDW work extremely effectively and cheap. Infect is also quite cool, cheap, and modern legal.

Although if you have someone else to play with you regularly(friend, spouse, etc.) then buying a few cheap decks that are balanced around playing against each other is a really good investment to make. The ones posted by themightyjang are an excellent example of this.
This is a block of text that can be added to post you make.

Wow! Thank you very much. Looking forward to buy 2 of them so my brother and I will be able to play one against other.

I've actually made a deck cheaper than that. Go to my profile and look for my 20$ mill deck. You can see if you like it. Let me know how it works for you if you decide to use it :)
