[Standard] Esper Mentor Control

Esper Mentor Control

Rather than using a Jeskai Black build around burn and Soulfire Grand Master, I am trying to play Esper control with Monastery Mentor and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet.  Dragon lord Ojutai can be substituted for Dragonlord Silumgar, and I will be play-testing the deck with both.

I agree with Kirito, cut the anticipate for another grasp of darkness.
I would also cut Kalitas down to 2 of and add in that dragonlord silumgar from your description.

Another trigger (for Kalitas) in Grasp of Darkness is a great replacement for Anticipate. Because Card advantage is so huge here, and because Dragonlord Ojutai "Anticipates" I put one in, but I agree with both of you. I will also try running 2 Kalitas, 1 Ojutai, 1 Silumgar. Thanks for the replies
