This deck wins by amassing a critical mass of permanents and ornithopter eats an additional kind of removal which is very relevant in a deck with few creatures. It also doesn't represent an extra card off sram. Def worth running in some versions of the deck, maybe a UB one with contraband kingpin?

That's definitely a sideboard option
I'm going to play this deck this weekend and then make some changes depending on how my matchups go

Another option is a list that goes all-in on Sram and 0-drops/equipment. This looks like:
CUT: Glint-nest Crane, Baral's Expertise, some copies of Aetherflux and Statuary
ADD: Whir of Invention (to maindeck), Ornithopter, Inventor's Goggles
