Bolas Ramp

Use green to ramp and prepare the way for Nicol Bolas, God-Pharaoh and The Locust God and The Scorpion God. Nissa, Steward of Elements is largely for scrying, but can ult for a quick burst or 0 for higher cost cards if you know they're there and have the loyalty. Undergrowth Champions stay alive fairly well and provide some protection against aggressive decks.

Is this too greedy? Running green for just ramping seems off, but the other three colors slog to get to the end game for Bolas and Co.

You can run mono green mana base.. green has cards like a weirding wood, gift of paradise, and unbridled growth

One thing I like about unbridled growth is that in the late game it essentially is G: Draw a card

The main reason I don't want to do that is that enchantment hate makes it literally impossible to cast non-green spells. I've tinkered a little with something like this in MTGO (I drafted Bolas and Locus God) and not having actual land always screws me over.

It's also a rare instead of common, and probably more expensive..

I was expecting that too, soren, but it's only a couple of bucks and probably will drop a few weeks after release. I'll have to take a look for them.
