Why Spreading Seas?

Arcanum Wings and Spreading Seas dont work together

5/1/2007: If on resolution, half the exchange can’t be completed (such as if the only Aura in your hand can’t enchant the permanent), nothing happens.

Spreading seas isn't meant to be used with arcanum wings, it's simply a very good card against decks like eldrazi tron that is also searchable by several cards in the deck.
