I think you need more protection for your creature that lets you play the cards. If he dies after removing them you are screwed.

I think that Remand would work a little better than Counterspell. If someone tries to destroy Laboratory Maniac, you can counter it, and draw a card, winning you the game. I also think that Ancient Tomb would (sometimes) help to get Kaho out a turn sooner.

Am I crazy here or did someone make this deck once before. Also, I agree that Remand/Dismiss could work better because you automatically win if they don't have another kill spell or a counterspell.

How can you make sure to even hit a spell with your 6 mulls? O.o

You don't need to hit any spell. Once you have four lands, you can cast the commander, which gets you three instants (counterspell, Muddle the Mixture, Mystical Tutor). Use Mystical to get Mana Severance. Cast it to exile all lands from your library (Laboratory Maniac is now the only card left). Draw and Cast Laboratory Maniac. All you need is to draw one more card, and you win.
