Azusa EDH (Needs Help!)

Need help fine tuning this deck. Obviously short on lands but unsure what to get rid of. Also looking for help with card choice, thanks!

Great ideas, what are some weaker cards that could come out in place of those you suggested?

For a deck where you can play extra lands, I see too few lands, and too few card draw. Let's fix that. First, I would put around 35 to 40 lands. Basic Forests will work just fine, but feel free to get creative (Ghost Quarter, Tranquil Thicket, Thespian Stage, Dark Depths). Next, more card draw. Horn of Greed, Seer's Sundial, Harmonize, and Courser of Kruphix work wonders in this deck.

The good news, is that you already have most of the win-conditions. With all this mana and card draw, you'll easily be able to get Vorinclex, Craterhoof Behemoth, Avenger of Zendikar, and Wolfbriar Elemental. The only ones I can think to add is Triumph of the Horde and Ezuri, Renegade Leader.

For cards to take out, I don't think you'll need Asceticism, Bow of Nylea, Momentus Fall, Bellowing Tanglewurm, Borderland Ranger, Melira, Myojin of Life's Web, Vengevine, or Vorapede. Elvish Piper also seems a little redundant, because you'll almost always have the mana to play these high cost creatures.

Hope this helps.

Caged Sun and Gauntlet of power can end up helping your opponents as well as you.  With the amount of land you will be putting out with Azusa, you have enough ramp for fairly much anything you want to play.  Maybe Ghirapur Orrery to increase your card draw (you should be able to play plenty of lands to not get stuck with cards in hand).  Heroic Intervention for board wipe protection.

Awesome input, thank you very much! I'm going to start making those changes right away, it already seems like it will be more consistent.

I think Sylvan Safekeeper is better than Ascetism since it can be tutored, not to mention that it's cheaper, Lightning Greaves are great too. You could also add Ramunap Excavator since it comboes off with Azusa and Strip Mine / Wooded Foothills and is tutorabel unlike Crucible. You should also replace all the Cultivate type cards with Gaea's Bounty, Journey of Discovery, Seek the Horizon, Krosan Tusker and Nissa, Vastwood Seer since they have more sinergy with Azusa. Gauntlet of Power and/or Caged Sun could be replaced by The Immortal Sun (new card) as it seems better overall. Elemental Bond or Garruk's Packleader seem definitely more consistent than Glimpse of Nature. Realms Uncharted can replace Harrow so you can get Strip Mine ready to combo off with Crucible/ Ramunap Excavator. Momentous Fall is not bad, but it's much worse than Greater Good. Harmonize is a must in every green deck and you should have it. As an anti-flyer creature other than Arbor Colossus (which isn't bad), i would consider either Cloudthresher or Hornet Queen, which comboes off with Craterhoof Behemoth. Borderland Ranger should be replaced with Expedition Map, which can get you the coveted Strip Mine for the combo, or even Gaea's Cradle or Ancient Tomb (which you should have) for more overall mana. Elvish Piper is fine imo, it basically gives your creature f1ash and uncounterable for 1 mana, all things that can screw up your blue opponents and is almost always a must-counter card, i'd say Quicksilver Amulet could be better since it's harder to kill, but it costs more to activate, so it's up to you. Melira, Sylvok Outcast seems like a wasted slot, since it doesn't combo with anything in the deck, unless you add Altar of Dementia or Ashnod's Altar then it comboes with Woodfall Primus. Chord of Calling is much better than Mwonvuli Beast Tracker since it's instant, it doesn't make card disadvantage and it doesn't have restrictions. Vengevine is too weak imo, i'd rather run Genesis and add Survival of the Fittest to combo off with it. Replace Vorapede with Carnage Tyrant: much better. I would consider Steel Hellkite over Wurmcoil Engine: Wurmcoil is not bad, but it's a defensive card that you don't really need imo, and offensively it's a 6/6 without trample, Hellkite has a much greater offensive presence, and flying which could help to fend off flyers if needed. Yeva is fine, but i would also consider either Dosan the Falling Leaf or Prowling Serpopard as anti-counter cards. Thaumatic Compass can help you ramp early game and then fend off annoying creatures, like commanders with equipments. Beast Within i think is a must have in every green edh deck. Courser of Kruphix is another must have for Azusa. Duplicant is a nice removal card, expensive, but tutorable. Since it recently got unbanned, i would consider Protean Hulk, maybe to combo off with something like High Market and Greater Good, or just as wrath scare off. Horn of Greed and Tireless Tracker are other must have in Azusa decks imo. Since i can see you like your tutors ( as i do) you might consider Woodland Bellower, it's not super good, but it can tutor for some good cards like Eternal Witness, Ramunap Excavator or Reclamation Sage (which could replace acidic slime for the sinergy with Bellower). Nissa, Vital Force is pretty good, it can ultimate early game ftw or give you a eternal witness-like effect late game.

Caged Sun is mana doubler and The Immortal Sun is a cost reducer. Caged Sun is infinitely better

All that mana is useless once you empty your hand, and with The Immortal Sun you draw an extra card each turn, but that's just my opinion i guess.

All that mana has a place to go if you get a Helix Pinnacle.

Keep Asceticism, but invest in cards like Reclaim and Nature's Spiral to protect it.  This M15 Wandering Bard is a good choice, as is Archetype of Endurance.

And Sword of the Animist.  Drop your one-shot land spells in favor of Sword of the Animists, Ondu Giant, Farhaven Elf, Yavimaya Granger, Wild Wanderer, and Quirion Trailblazer.  Then all you have to do is find ways to copy them, such as Soul Separator or something, and you have lands by the score.

Going white green would let you use Karametra, God of Harvests, as commander.

It's Yisan, the Wanderer Bard

Hurricane and Squall Line are also helpful if you have a lot of mana.  Especially if you use Blunt the Assault.  And what are you doing playing without an Essence Warden, Spidersilk Armor, and Moonsilver Spear?
