Scavenging Ooze vs Past in Flames

I want to know the interaction between Scavenging Ooze and Past in Flames. There is a point which the Ooze can eat something from the graveyard,for example a Past in Flames been cast from the hand... Because I know the Scooze never gets priority with flashback spells.Thanks in advance! (And I mean activate Scooze's ability to eat someting from the graveyard in response to Past in Flames been cast from the hand)

While Past in Flames is still on the stack, cards in graveyard won't have flashback yet.
So you can eat all you want in response, preventing those cards from being flashbacked after Past in Flames resolves.
