Those are both smart choices. I totally hadn't even thought about Winding Constrictor or Sporoloth Ancient, but they'd make great additions to the deck.

Utopia mycon for mana and instant saproling sacing to trigger slimefoot's ability? Vicious Offering is a cheap removal for dealing with pesky indestructibles. Also look into convoke spells like scatter the seeds and sprout swarm... I built a pair of modern decks so poke around in those for inspirations if you want.
