Things in the Ice, Counter and Clear

Primary strategy is to break out "Thing in the Ice" with cards that quickly reduce counters aka. Quarry Hauler. Also Aethersquall Ancient for board clearing in a clutch as well as plenty of defense and control.

Input please! I'm going through and adding all my constructed decks to deckstat. I hope to get some advice on making these decks even better!

You might want to splash white for Solemnity, as a random suggestion.

Whoa! So would using Solemnity pull the counters off Thing in the Ice and allow it to trigger it's transformation? That would be incredible!!

The way I enterpret it would mean that it simply can't get more counters added for safety purposes.
