Hey,

what about Sylvan Scrying in stead of Farseek? Same slot but more targets. Fellwar Stone could also help for mana ramp.

Why no Ashnod's Altar? Its a very nice sac outlet.

Journey to Eternity could be interesting for your deck, to get another source for recursion.

Farseek is ramp for Meren to come out earlier.
Fellwar Stone and Ashnod's Altar will be added in the future when I'l buy more copies of them
Journey is interest, don't own one, but will stock on Ixalan cards later.
Deck is called "Upgrade me" because it's still in the works)

yes, your right. Farseek puts it into play tapped, my mistake.
But i've just checked, you got no nonbasic Swamps, so Rampant Growth might be an more flexible option (at least at the current state of the deck).

I've noticed the "upgrade me", that was my reason to give you some suggestions.
All in all i've already seen worse (and more expensive) meren decks here. I think you're on the right track.

I'll add GB shock a tad bit later to deck so farseek will get better.
I'll work on the list as I play some more with it. I need at least a Spore Frog, Fleshbag Marauder and Merciless Executioner as for creatures. Also planning to buy Commander Anthology vol II and will take Grave Pact from Mimeoplasm in there :3

expedition map is another good mana sourcing card i run a windgrace lands deck so ive dug deep in the ramp recently
also crop rotation isnt bad either if there are some lands you  need to seach out in your deck. i use it to get stripmine out while gitrog is on the feild and it nets three draws and two activations of stripmine
