It would work in arena, you can pretty spikey lists in that game. But in paper you would need something resembling a curve because getting stuck on 3 mana for several turns is a very real thing.

So narset to tutor for spells, and sinister sabotage for the draw fixing and counters. But that's kinda boring so just leave it as it is.

Narset might be decent, I'm not running counters because they aren't good with Kefnet.  I was playing around with things like Thief of Sanity and Cry of the Carnarium, but ultimately decided on Widespread Brutality as they are good alongside the amass synergy.  I only play paper magic.  With 26 land and 4 discovery and 4 thought erasure to help with draws a little I don't expect to get stuck on 3 land very often.
