Are you sure you want this to be modern? This could be a pretty good pirate deck in standard if you just replace Bolas and Kari Zev. You could even replace Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker with Nicol Bolas, The Ravager / The Arisen.

yeah i mean standard is not my prefered format and i chose nicol bolas because he could take control of permanents but i guess i could make an updated standard version for ya :-)
