I like this deck not because it's a good deck or it has expensive cards, but because it's such a good idea for a deck. I always wanted a rat deck!

First of all, the mana base: I don't think Leechridden Swamp and Mortuary Mire worth adding. Besides that, what about Mind Stone as additional mana rock?

For removal, Curtains' Call could come handy.

Thornbite Staff would allow you to generate an endless amount of rat tokens with your commander.

Then you got Rat Colony and Relentless Rats. I reccomend to decide for one of them. The Colony got the "problem" that they only get more power, but on the other hand they scale with all rats, in stead of just those with the same name.

Ratcatcher and Ogre Slumlord would be a great support for your rats.

If you think you need some recursion: Phyrexian Reclamation and Victimize would do a good job.
