Possible error in Mana Distribution
« on: August 04, 2019, 08:38:20 pm »
Hi,
Revising the mana base of my EDH decks, I've noticed an anomaly in this deck:
https://deckstats.net/decks/54477/512434-scary-deck
This deck is peculiar in the sense that it's effectively a 3-color deck even though it has a 5-color commander.
Also, it's mostly composed by artifacts, so the colors are quite diluted.
So what bothers me is: why there is a slight percentage of white in the mana distribution?
Initially I thought it was because Reaper King is white too, but then why there is no green?
Probably some little percentage has been rounded out, I thought, but I have Birthing Pod too in the list.
That's 2 green against 1 white, how can white possible get the upper hand?

Great catch! We have some code that is trying to find a minimal set of colors for a given deck if there are multiple possibilities due to hybrid mana. Unfortunately this was an edge case where it was malfunctioning.

I have found the bug and fixed this now. Next time you analyze and save your deck the pie chart and the color stripes should be updated.
