What about Illness in the Ranks? Very cost efficient and it also hates your opponents tokens.

I think that you could play Sigiled Sword of Valeron and also captain's claws wich create tokens ( not for you but always good to take )

Blackblade Reforged
Fireshrieker
Gift of the Deity
Basilisk Collar
Trailblazer's Boots

Besides that, Tempting Licid could be interesting for some nasty combat tricks.

Blood Artist and Deathgreeter would also work great with your strategy.

Slimefoot, the Stowaway would deal some extra damage for each saproling you control dies, besides that he could work as mana sink.

Strionic Resonator could be used to copy Grismolds effect.

/edit: if you really want to keep the board clean: Dictate of Erebos and Grave Pact
