What are some creatures you wish were Legendary?

I sometimes come across creatures that I wish were Legendary so that I could build an EDH deck around them, either because I remember them fondly from a deck I used to play them in or because I think they'd make for a fun and interesting or powerful deck.

Some that come to mind for me are:

Ankle Shanker - Mardu aggro with this guy at the head sounds like a lot of fun to me.
Archfiend of Ifnir - One of my personal favourite cards, and an undeniably strong effect. Each creature. Each. Hot damn. I'd love to have constant access to him from the Command Zone.
Baleful Strix - no reason for this other than I just love the art and it would enable me to make the Dimir Nils Hamm deck I've wanted to make since getting into EDH.

I'd love to hear from you guys about any creatures that fit this bill for you for whatever reasons you might have; fun, power potential, sentimentality, whatever.

This would give us some interesting new commanders for 4c.

I would want Wayward Servant or Lord of the Accursed to be legendary, because they both are really good zombie tribal cards.

Cool combo cards from the past, from the days of backyard Magic with the other kids.

To me, part of the fun in Commander is that not every great effect can be found on a legendary creature.  So you have to build around them in other creative ways.


That said, I would like to echo @Judaspriester's sentiment about the nephilim.  Especially since Mark Rosewater himself has said that if they could go back and make the nephilim legendary that they would.  When C16 was announced with 4-color commanders, I was hoping that within each one would be the nephilim reprinted as legendary.  Didn't happen

I think most places allow Nephilim commanders due to Rosewater's own unofficial errata.

Archangel of Thune is one that could be interesting as a white commander maybe.

Maelstrom Archangel is a really cool card that I wish was legendary. You already see some people make EDH decks of it according to EDHREC
