Does Knight of the Stampede impact the cost of creating tokens using Thunder Spineback ability?

Unfortunately not. Knight of the Stampede effects the cost of spells (so casting creatures) whereas Thundering Spineback creates tokens by activating an ability, which is not considered a spell.
