Hello! Looking for ways to make this faster (if possible) and I need help dealing with counterspell heavy decks as well as deathtouch. Any input is appreciated!

Hmm... godo + helm would be another line you could try to go.

Against deathtouch, Mirror Shield would be an interesting option. since it also offers hexproof, it's not useless against other decks.
