I'm guessing I'm not the first to notice this, but I couldn't find an existing post so perhaps I am.
It appears that the mana source distribution calculator isn't taking artifacts or creatures with tap for mana abilities into consideration.

birds of paradise and commanders sphere are blank.
Also doesn't seem to work with colors either,
llanowar elves never gets selected when green is highlighted.
