Zur the Enchanter and Astral Drift 'n' Slide (Tokyo Drift; blink & cycle)
(1/1)
Aetherium Slinky:
Hi Deckstats!
This time I'm looking for creatures that are worth blinking in Esper colours.
The deck here is based around Astral Drift and Astral Slide that blink creatures when I cycle things. I don't have a clear cut wincon yet but I'm not currently worried about that. I'm also not done with the final cuts so being over 100 cards is fine at this point. What I need is more creatures with good ETBs. Any suggestions?

Hey man,
I have a Zur Astral slide deck too and some creatures I've had a lot of success with that you are missing are things like:
Ravenous Chupacabra
Meteor Golem
Man o' War
Tempest Caller
Basically things that destroy stuff, tap stuff, bounce stuff. That kind of thing.
I tend to play that deck quite controlly. It may not appeal to you and that's totally fair enough, but thought I'd share my own experiences with this deck.
Cool deck though dude. I have a lot of fun with this one and I hope you will too.
Edit:
Also things like Gonti and Atris are great if you're looking to have fun rather than ruin everyone's day.

I see Circles of Protection in your maybeboard but the Rune of Protection cycle from Urza's block, well, cycle, so not sure if these are what you meant to enter or not.
As for creatures to blink, I like Gonti, Lord of Luxury, Hostage Taker and Reflector Mage. I use the first 2 in my Aminatou Deck. Heck, you may want to add Aminatou in.

Yup, someone else as well pointed out my mistake so I now replaced Circles with Runes. Thanks for the advice. Had to add a bunch of cycling cards so I need to see how much I can still fit in without touching the balance of draw and blink targets.
Aetherium Slinky:
Ok, so playtesting has showed that this deck is fine with the amount of draw it has. In fact a Spellbook might be needed. With draw come targets for blink and with that comes value. Very good value and Magister Sphinx is a great finisher especially when you can keep blinking it.
