companion vs deck legality

do you guys think we could use a systems that chek if your deck is valid for your companion the same way it checks for format legality?
ex: your companion lutri cant be used as a companion since you have 2 cards with the same name: lighning bolt

Nice idea but unfortunately that would require us to manually write code for each possible companion card, which is not really feasible at the moment.
