Since so many of you said that the dwarves deserve more attention, I cobbled a fun-deck together using the few dwarfen-cards we got with some classic goodstuff cards to make it somehow playable.

Of course I'm sure I've gone mad. The little man who crawled out of my eye was quite clear on this.

Nephilim.  The only tribe I'd ever build
A single victory is all I need.

Quite some time ago, there was a Deckstats competition for people to design cards for an under-supported tribe. Everyone keeps bringing up dwarves, so I'm sure you'll be happy to see the cards I designed.

I have wanted a golem tribal commander ever since I've discovered commander. Probably a token synergy thing along with the tribal aspect and at least bant but no-red and 5-color would also be acceptable, I just think it's important to have all the new phyrexian splicers.

I want some more Ooze and Octopus creature types. If there were more Octopuses (or Octopi), then I would totally make a Lorthos, the Tidemaker commander deck starring a lot of Octopuses. Sea-Dasher Octopus made a great addition to the very small Octopus collection, numbering at only 10 Octopus creatures over all sets.

More oozes would be fantastic. I love the flavor of cards like Predator Ooze and Biogenic Ooze. They're just horrifying amalgams that continue to multiply and grow in power until they're destroyed.
Elves and infect are the best things in Magic.

Biogenic Ooze has been one of my favorite cards since it came out. What do you think an Ooze commander / lord would be like? How would it behave? Maybe something to do with multiplying, as that does seem to be a recurring theme. Turning other creatures into Oozes would be cool as well.

Pretty sure it looks a lot like The Mimeoplasm.
Happy Brewing!

I think an ooze legend like the Mimeoplasm would work. Something like "when a creature dealt damage by Legend Ooze dies this turn, you may exile it. If you do so, return any other creatures exiled by Legend Ooze to their owner's graveyard. Legend Ooze has all abilities of any creature exiled by this effect."

Maybe with a tap effect that pings or something.

Either that, or a Biogenic Ooze upgrade. Maybe the reverse: an ooze that multiplies on the end step and has an activated ability to pump all oozes.
Elves and infect are the best things in Magic.

May I add "classes" to the long list of tribes that could use more love? Warriors and Wizards had gotten some, even decent Commanders. More love for Rogues, Shamans and, the new addition, Warlocks! Lorwyn block seems to be a great prototype for those.

Lol didn't know he existed. Next time I should do my research!

But I really do like the idea of a card like:

Cardname - 4GG
Legendary Creature - Ooze
At the beginning of each of your end steps, create a 1/2 green Ooze creature token.
2GG: Ooze greatures you control get +X/+X until end of turn, where X is the number of Oozes you control.
3/4

...or something like that.

Making it into Craterhoof for 4 mana is probably a bit much. Maybe more in line with Ezuri, like 3GG: ooze creatures you control gain +3/+3 and trample until end of turn.

That's probably more reasonable

How about an ooze that does something similar to scarab god, but decidedly different?

Legendary Creature - Ooze
2GG - Create a copy of target creature, except it is an */* Ooze creature token and has "This creatures power/toughness is equal to the number of Oozes on the battlefield"
