this is literally an Elvish Visionary and Elvish Mystic stapled together.
Sorry. It's Llanowar Elves and Elvish Visionary. Literally.

I believe it's Fyndhorn Elves and Elvish Visionary.

How did you get that? The name is an amalgamation of Llanowar Elves and Elvish Visionary, Llanowar Visionary. It's not Fyndhorn Visionary?

I was just making a joke because Elvish Mystic and Fyndhorn Elves are both functional reprints of Llanowar Elves.

Ok, I didn't get that joke until now that you explained it. Cool card anyway.

Surprised on the mixed opinions already on Chromatic Orrery. I felt like it would be an auto include for most 3-5 colour EDH decks that aren't trying to be cEDH or power level 8-10.

A lot of it has to do with it's mana cost. At 7 mana or more I'm wanting a card to be something close to a game ender, not ramp. There's just quite simply ramp that's much less expensive that can come down early and power out better cards. I'm sure some fringe decks will want it but it's not something I see as an auto include. I run a 5c Sliver deck and it's not something that even interests me for it.

edit- my spelling stinks today

I think an untap tribal deck could benefit from one considering the massive amount of mana it produces while being a draw engine at the same time. Many combos in such decks also require coloured mana and things that tap for two mana or more. It's like a more expensive Gilded Lotus but on steroids and has draw. All in all I think some fringe decks will want to use it, like you said.

Chromatic Orrery seems ok for decks that can reliably cheat it out ( looking at you Arcum Dagson ) or ones that treat it as a combo piece. While Grim Monoliths of the World achieve infinite colorless mana for cheaper they do need an outlet for it. With this you're good with the same untap shenanigans as long as you have some permanent with color on the field. Then you just create infinite mana and draw your deck with the draw ability. So basically imo it can be worth it in certain decks or with certain strategies but auto include? Nah man.

Edit: looks like Kotka swooped in as I was typing :P I'll be a parrot then!

So far this set looks really really good. I am still not a big fan of Teferi but that is because Jace was way over done as a planeswalker and now I am feeling Teferi is also getting way over done.

Elder Gargaroth makes me, as a green player, feel bad. White gets Baneslayer Angel? Green gets a creature with the same CMC, extra +1/+1, 3 very relevant keyword (not as relevant as Baneslayer Angel's to me, though), and instead of 2 narrow protection abilities, gets a fantastic modal ability where all 3 modes are more than relevant. They. Just. Keep. Pushing. Green. It's sorta unfair.

So are we still just going to ignore all these weird names in the Deckstats spoiler?

"Quite Possibly, the Goodest Boy"
"Book of Big-Brain Memes"
"Visit from the In-Laws"

I'm reasonably certain that first is an Isamaru, Hound of Konda update because, I mean, look at him. He is the goodest of boys.

Ritos de Pueblo ("Village Rites" or "Visit from the In-Laws") seems interesting! It's half the cost of its predecessors.

EDIT: Oh, Soren beat me to it.
