Why did you insert the elves?  Only for mana increase.
In my opinion you should remove the elf creatures, I suppose this deck and to have fun with your friends!
So I'd start replacing the green cards! With red mana ramps...
And look for dragons and come in with little mana to have defense during the early stages of the game. The dragon deck if well managed and customized can be a lot of fun
