Triple Commander Challenge

Partners are rather interesting in EDH, since they give you incredible flexibility in what you deck can do and which colors it can have. Companions are almost like a second commander, but have extremey rigid deckbuilding restrictions.

The challenge? Build a commander deck with partners as commanders and use a companion.

Lutri and Yorion don't work, and there is no Gruul companion, since Jegantha, the Sellspring is 5c. Good luck!

Oooh I tried this with Jeska and Vial Smasher w/ Obosh as companion, going for a really explosive group slug/burn-y rakdos deck, but building with the companion restrictions meant I lost, like, half my card pool! I thought Obosh'd be one of the easier companions to build around but it turns out there are good cards with CMC 2, who knew?

Haven't tested it at all, but [[Vial Smasher the Fierce]] and [[Alena, Kessig]] with [[Obosh, the preypiercer]] with a deck focused on casting [[dragon's approach]] a few times to get a dragon and repeat with Alena.

So far, every companion besides Kaheera and Zirda have been brewed.

Just realized that Jegantha is impossible to do in this challenge, since you can's get a 5c commander with partners. Lurrus is also undoable, since there are only 3 commanders that work with Lurrus and none of them are partners.

Who will try a Anara, Wolvid Familiar deck with Kaheera. And which madlad will take on Alena/Prava/Zirda?

Yes that works. I had short-listed a few choices before going with Gyruda+Sakashima+Tormod. Maybe this will inspire some of you.

Here's my list. Definitely could be improved, but the curve makes me laugh.
