Question about Veyran, Voice of Duality

Does  Veyran, Voice of Duality only apply to magecraft? Can it double up abilities on cards such as Erratic Cyclops?

i believe so, it should double that trigger.

Yea it does. A good way to remember it is Veyran will double the triggers of anything that says "whenever you cast a spell" or "whenever you cast or copy a spell" (so magecraft).

So guttersnipe, young pyromancer, erratic cyclops etc. all get double triggers.

Also, Veyran triggers Veyran, so you get +2/+2 per instant or sorcery, which is neat.

It is not limited to Magecraft, and will trigger every ability that says "Whenever you cast/copy and Instant/Sorcery spell, do X" an additional time.

The easiest way to it is to think about it as a Panharmonicon (or Yarok, the Desecrated), if you're familiar with this card, that double cast/copy triggers instead of ETBs.

Also note that Veyran's own ability will always trigger twice, so every instant or sorcery you cast or copy will give them +2/+2.

Yep, absolutely. HowlingLotus makes a fine point.

Anything that triggers for non creature spells (prowess, Kykar, Saheeli, Sublime Artificer etc.) will also get double triggers, as long as it is an instant or sorcery you are casting.

So, with Veyran and Saheeli in play:

Sol ring = 1 servo.
Brainstorm = 2 servos.

Also double-triggers anything that says "spell", so long as it's an instant or sorcery you're casting to trigger the ability. I've gotten some crazy shenanigans done with Sunbird's Invocation and Birgi, God of Storytelling! (Not necessarily together )
