special cards?

i got a handful of "special" cards. under rarity what makes them special?

Kaladesh Inventions, Amonket Invocations and Ultimate Box Toppers are for the most part the main Special cards, it basically just indicates that they're fancy promo cards stuffed into other stuff.
Prismatic Piper is also Special, but on the other end of the spectrum. Rather than being super rare, it's Basic Land levels of common.
