Lorehold edh budget upgrades help
« on: September 12, 2021, 09:29:10 am »
First off I have a small budget (roughly $5 a card). So I recently got the lorehold edh deck as my first boros deck and not being much of a boros player I am somewhat lost as how to go about upgrading it.
I'm looking for some good artifacts to recur with osgir's ability.
Also looking for ways to fill my graveyard

Well, Goblin Engineer is a good tutor and gives you kinda graveyard repercussion.
Mesmeric Orb is a good way to fill your graveyard and you can copy it with your commander.
Treasure Chest from D&D.
Scrapyard Recombiner (if you have enough or good Constructs).
Oswald Fiddlebender, a pod for artifacts.
Lorehold Excavation, good enough and flavour.
Millikin, ramps and fill your graveyard.
Codex Shredder, cheap for Osgir`s ability and mills whenever you want.
I hope it helped!

It´s not about winning, it´s about sending a message.

I would start by taking a look at Osgir's EDHrec page: https://edhrec.com/commanders/osgir-the-reconstructor

You may also take a look at some of the many "budget upgrade" videos that you can find on the internet, such as this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFS6ldVjDjA.

The boros precon was in my opinion the best out of the box, and quite strong for a precon. It has very good synergy and some powerful cards. You will definitely have fun with it!
