Switching to abbey, for I like a land hitting for alot of lifegain, it's just the other is gonna take like 7 turns to actually matter.

Was listening to a discussion about Goud decks, and decided to add another Planeswalker to increase "defense". And decided that there might be to many downsides with this other card in this deck.

You know still surprised after all this time. Most players are making Samurai focused decks on Edhrec.

Only see ten treasure decks there. And only mine doing the wheel/thief/reanimator stuff.

Out of 2523 new decks.... Thinking people are missing the point of this commander.

Going Extra turn route only makes you more of a target from others.

I love the deck!  If anyone is missing the point of the commander, its you.  Which has led to a really cool brew.  I resoundingly agree though that the samurai route is not great.  My only suggestion, which is evergreen, take out the tutors and get what you get!

I built commander for a friend who is just getting back into mtg after 15 years off, and if you have time I was wondering if you could give me some pointers on it, it hasn't been played yet and you seem to be very knowledgeable on Isshin.
